Cherry, almond and dark chocolate desert!

Sometimes you just need a desert!

When I feel this way I typically opt for some good quality organic dark chocolate and be done with it.

Other times however, I feel the need to get creative!

On these occasions I head off to the kitchen and I rarely have a plan. I just see what we have and go from there. It normally works out okay?! Although I have to admit I have had the odd shocker!

Anyway back to the cherry, almond and dark chocolate desert. . . . 

Wednesday night was a creative night.

We had just got back from a challenging but fun group training session with our clients. We had some salmon and veggies for dinner. Now it was time to relax and enjoy a treat.

But what to have?

Having just trained I wanted to keep it healthy. I went to the kitchen on my mission and less than 5 mins later . . . . one of my best efforts to date!

I'm certainly no Gordon Ramsey but this creation tasted amazing.

And best of all, it is very healthy!

Here are the ingredients:

  • Coconut milk
  • Natural yogurt
  • Frozen cherries
  • Chia seeds
  • 1/2 avocado

Blend 1 min (we use a ninja, it's awesome!). Pour into glass, bowl or whatever you want to use.

Then top with:

  • Crushed almonds
  • 90% Cocoa dark chocolate
  • A drizzle of honey 

It's that simple. It took me less than 5 mins. It's super healthy and tastes amazing!
